CHEATER OF TAMILIANS, THE TELUGU KARUNANIDHI AND HIS ASSISTANCE TO TELUGU-SINHALA RAJAPAKSE TO DESTROY TAMILS IN SRI LANKA

As Devasagayam sir has already covered most areas on the topic I will write about just one important area:

CM Karunanidhi blocking cargo ships:

Seeman once revealed that after returning from Eelam(in 2008) then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi refused to meet him. Prabhakaran has personally sent a request through Seeman. LTTE chief has requested Karunanidhi to allow LTTE cargo ships(non-military) to use Indian ports as usual.

Even though LTTE is banned in India since 1991 but India(especially Tamil Nadu Government) allowed LTTE cargo ships(non-military) to use Indian coasts. But during the final Eelam war then CM Karunanidhi ordered not to let LTTE ships coming near Indian coasts and do shopping.

These cargo ships/trawlers used to carry

1. Medicines
2. Ration
3. Fuels(kerosene,petrol, diesel,etc). Kerosene was very important fuel for all households in LTTE controlled territory due to lack of electricity. All those large power generators used by LTTE required these fuels to fulfill the power requirement of the organization.
4. Batteries: LTTE controlled areas had very limited access to electricity. Most of the day to day activity of LTTE was depended on these batteries. Eg. Their military workshops and communication centres.

During the final months(from mid-2008 to May 2009) LTTE not only struggled to supply ammunition to its cadres on the frontline but also struggled to feed its people due to India’s blockade.

Until the presence of UN teams in Wanni things were not that worry some especially medical facilities. But once UN teams left Wanni (in September 2008 ) LTTE struggled to treat wounded civilians as well as wounded LTTE cadres. The inadequate food and medicines had direct effect on the morale of people and LTTE cadres.

The Operation Ellalan(2010) movie director G.T.Nandu aka N.K.Kandi once revealed that when Seeman visited Eelam in mid 2008 he was treated as a VVIP guest by the LTTE chief. He was served with all types of sea foods including turtle meat. But few months down things changed drastically and they were forced to eat expired breads after removing the green part(bacteria).

I am not sure how true it is but Seeman once said that while speaking with LTTE chief Prabhakaran he said something like this:

Even Jayalalitha who was always anti-LTTE used to allow LTTE’s non-militay ships but Karunanidhi who was once pro-Eelam is blocking our ships.

Seeman even added that Prabhakaran was really upset with Karunanidhi’s blockade and said:

We criticize Rajapaksha but at least he is loyal to his community(Sinhalese) but here our own leader (Karunanidhi) is against our struggle.

As per Sri Lankan military reports around late 2008 LTTE was able to unload an explosive cargo ship which was allegedly came from Indonesia. Around the same time some LTTE trawlers from Tamil Nadu were also able to break SLN’s Naval Blockade and reached Mullaitivu coast. This sent a shock wave across the military hierarchy.

As per army intelligence LTTE was supposed to be running out of both men and ammunition in 2008 itself. A Sri Lankan Minister went on to say that 2007 was going to be the last Maaveerar Naal for LTTE. But LTTE was able to stretch the war for another year and observed another Maaveerar Naal in November 2008.

Overall this blockade not only affected LTTE but also affected the Eelam civilians trapped in the war zone.
